Men do not live in fantasy land. Boys do!

Fantasy land is warm, padded, and unreal. It smells of electricity and sweat. It glows blue in the dark. It offers pleasure without effort and victory without risk. Video games and pornography are not hobbies; they are narcotics for a civilisation afraid of pain. They simulate struggle while removing consequence. They imitate woman and war without requiring courage for either.

This is not freedom. This is sedation.

A real man does not seek escape. He seeks weight.

He wakes early because the world does not wait. The alarm clock is a test of sovereignty: either you command your body, or your body commands you. He rises, washes, dresses, and goes to work. Not because he “feels inspired,” but because necessity is sacred. Work is not therapy. Work is obedience to reality.

The Russian soul understands this instinctively. Life is not a playground; it is a trial. Snow does not care about your feelings. Hunger does not negotiate. History does not pause for your comfort. Therefore the man must harden himself against illusion. He must become useful.

Video games train the reflexes of a soldier with none of the honour. Pornography trains desire with none of the responsibility. Both teach the same lesson: you may have without becoming. This is poison. It dissolves the spine. It produces men who dream of dominance and collapse at discipline.

A man is not measured by what he consumes but by what he carries.

He carries labour.
He carries obligation.
He carries the burden of waking when he would rather sleep, and acting when he would rather drift.

Fantasy is for children and poets. Reality is for men.

Civilisation was not built by those who escaped into pleasure. It was built by those who endured cold mornings, heavy tools, and unglamorous repetition. The worker, the soldier, the farmer, the builder — these are not professions. They are proofs of alignment with the real.

To be a man is to submit yourself to the structure of the world instead of demanding the world entertain you.

You do not need stimulation.
You need resistance.
You do not need pixels.
You need purpose.
You do not need to feel powerful.
You need to be necessary.

Fantasyland is easy because it asks nothing. Reality is severe because it asks everything.

And masculinity begins where comfort ends.
