Never Argue with Idiots: Expose them. Mock them. Block them.

In the age of social media, podcast debates, and performative “gotchas,” a dangerous myth has taken hold: that all ideas are worth engaging, all people are worth debating, and that truth somehow emerges from endless squabbling. This is nonsense. If you want to preserve your sanity, your reputation, and your effectiveness as a warrior for truth, burn this principle into your mind:

Never argue with idiots.

Why? Because arguing with an idiot doesn't make them look foolish, it makes you look like a fool for trying to reason with someone who is either dishonest, deranged, or beyond reason.

Idiots don’t seek truth. They seek attention, chaos, and the ego-boost of dragging smarter men into the gutter with them. They don’t listen. They wait for their turn to speak, or worse, they twist your words, misrepresent your intent, and bait you into a debate that serves only one purpose: to make you as dumb as they are.

You cannot out-debate madness. You cannot reason with someone who denies reality. Arguing with such people is like trying to teach a pig to sing: it wastes your time, and it annoys the pig.

Worse still, the audience watching from the sidelines often can’t tell who the idiot is. In the fog of a heated exchange, clarity dies. You’ve already lost the battle when you agree to fight in the swamp. The wise don’t lower themselves to wrestle in the mud, they burn the swamp down and walk away.

This isn’t cowardice. It’s strategy. You are not on this earth to convince the deranged. You are here to lead the sane, protect the truth, and fight battles that matter. The idiot is noise. He is distraction. He is poison dressed up as a worthy opponent.

So don’t argue with idiots. Don’t debate trolls. Don’t dignify delusion with discussion.

Expose them. Mock them. Block them.

But never, ever let them drag you down.

Let them shout into the void while you march forward with purpose, honour, and power.

Because every second you spend arguing with an idiot is a second you’re not fighting for something that matters.
